  • 在發育的胚胎或是由幹細胞維持的成體器官中,細胞的分裂與分化過程都需要被很精確地調控;如果調控發生錯誤,會造成組織異常萎縮或癌 症。因此我們需要了解調控細胞分裂與分化的分子機制。

    我們實驗室的主要利用果蠅的卵巢為生物模式。一隻母果蠅有一對卵巢,可以終其一生不斷地產卵。這些卵來自卵巢中的生殖幹細胞與濾泡幹細 胞;這兩種幹細胞都能進行自我更新與細胞分裂,產生新的細胞;這些細胞會進行分裂、分化、遷移、型態改變與細胞凋亡。配合果蠅的遺傳工 具,我們可以用卵巢為模式,深入探討不同的基因與訊息傳遞路徑如何影響上述細胞的各種行為與功能。
