  • 研究方向
  • 我們的研究集中於鏈黴菌的分子遺傳學與基因體學。這些土壤中普遍存在的細菌,與土壤生態和植物之間有非常密切的關係。此外,它們會產生 數千種二級代謝物(特別是抗生素),所以在醫藥上非常重要。

    我們目前在研究它們的線狀染色體和線狀質體,特別是它們的結構、複製、結合傳遞、重組、與不穩定性。傳統有關環狀細菌染色體的知識常常 不能直接施用在鏈黴菌的線狀 DNA 上。新的模型必須建立。此外,我們最近開始研究鏈黴菌與植物之間的密切互動,譬如鏈黴菌如何在土壤中如何和植物相處共生,以及如何幫助植物的生長。這是大多數人所忽視的重 要的生態與演化的課題。
